Both of my children have attended STCC since they were infants. My husband and I could not be happier with the care they have received over the past 5 years. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable, and work very hard to ensure the needs of all the children are met. They are a very caring and dedicated team. The management does a fantastic job in working with families, and provides flexibility in accommodating the needs of everyone.

My daughter really enjoys the after-school programming she receives each day, and my son is always excited to attend his PELP sessions throughout the week. I feel very confident and comfortable leaving my children in the hands of the staff at STCC.

Sombra Township Child Care – Sacred Heart School Port Lambton Location
My children both attended S.T.C.C. from the time they were 2.5 years old. They are now 7 and 8 and I couldn’t imagine them being anywhere else. Best Start offers an amazing opportunity to engage your children socially before entering into the whole new world of JK. It allowed them to become familiarized with the school and get to meet children there, which only made onboarding them for school that much easier both for them and for us as parents.

The staff ensures that children are meeting milestones and engages them from early years to school aged offering different interests and educational centres to assist along the way.
The staff we have had the pleasure of working with have not only supported our children but also us as parents sharing many of their lessons learned and words of wisdom. In fact, one that sticks out for us is, “You can’t always just weed the garden, sometimes you just have to water the flowers.”

I wouldn’t hesitate to encourage anyone to participate in this amazing, local program. Thank you STCC for giving my kids the Best Start they could have had.

The team at Sombra Township Child Care are absolutely amazing. Thank you for providing my son Ryker with a safe, educational and fun experience. From reading, crafts, outdoor activities, crawling and even to walking my son has had the best teachers by far. He has learnt many things as well as well as respect, how to share and play with others. The cook Jane is absolutely amazing as well…always home cooked meals and snacks prepared each day. If there is anyone I would completely trust leaving my son with it would be the Team at STCC-Thank you ALL for being so amazing for my family, myself and especially Ryker.
